Reliable energy supply and national security remain top priorities for the PPP/C government, with significant investments planned over the next five years, Prime Minister Brigadier (Ret’d) Mark Phillips has affirmed. He underscored that Guyana’s defence capabilities are already robust, noting heightened border security supported by a modernised security infrastructure. The Prime Minister also reassured citizens that the gas-to-energy project will be delivered as promised, reinforcing the government’s commitment to sustainable development and national stability.
