The Ministry of Amerindian Affairs will be taking its work beyond the corridors of Georgetown and into the heart of indigenous communities. This was noted by the ministry’s Director General, Sonia Latchman. She told Starting Point that this approach is intended to ensure the voices of indigenous people are not only heard but fully reflected in national policies
