For 21 years, Public Health Specialist, Dr Shanti Singh, has been at the forefront of Guyana’s response to HIV and AIDS, helping to shape policies and programmes that have reduced deaths and infections through greater access to treatment. She says these hard-earned gains have positioned Guyana as a regional leader in the fight against HIV.
