GECOM Commissioner and attorney-at-Law, Sase Gunraj, has expressed absolute confidence in the steps taken by the PPP/C government to prevent any election rigging attempts at the upcoming September 1 polls.
In this episode, Gunraj stressed that the 2020 electoral fiasco not only paved the way for critical legislative reforms but also transformed the citizenry into watchdogs for democracy. With these two powerful forces in play, Gunraj said he is satisfied that Guyana will yet again enjoy free, fair and transparent elections.
