fareeza haniff

Fareeza Haniff

Fareeza is a respected journalist, media executive, and strategic communications leader with nearly 20 years of experience in Guyana and the Caribbean. From her early days as a reporter to her tenure as Editor-in-Chief of News Room, she has shaped major national conversations and led coverage of critical political moments—including the high-stakes 2020 elections. Her editorial leadership is matched by her operational acumen. In 2023, she was appointed Director of Media & Operations at the Guyana Energy Conference & Supply Chain Expo, where she successfully coordinated over four forums, managed media logistics, and helped deliver the event’s largest and most effective edition. Fareeza brings calm under pressure, unmatched editorial judgment, and a strong command of both message and execution.

Kiana Wilburg

Kiana is an award-winning investigative journalist and one of Guyana’s most prominent voices in the energy sector. Her career began at Kaieteur News, where she authored over 2,000 stories on politics, finance, and oil & gas—establishing herself as a leading expert and trusted commentator during a critical time in Guyana’s development. She also served as a stringer for Reuters, contributed to OilNOW, and hosted over 150 episodes of the widely followed radio show, Guyana’s Oil and You. In 2023, she was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Guyana Energy Conference & Supply Chain Expo, overseeing its strategic expansion, high-level partnerships, and media operations. Her blend of investigative rigor, strategic thinking, and public-facing leadership brings a dynamic edge to the company’s vision.
